Hello! We are so excited to welcome you to our house. please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our office features and policies.
Initial Exam
Our Board Certified Pediatric dentist is specifically trained to treat all patients, from birth through college. Because we believe that prevention is always the best path towards optimal dental health as an adult, we stress that coming to the dentist early and establishing a trusted dental home is crucial. That is why we offer all of our patients a complimentary first visit for ALL children under 2 years old! Please note that all children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the first visit.

Consults
When making your appointment please inform us of the primary reason for your visit. If your child has recently visited the dentist, let us know! It is helpful for us to have as much information in the way of your child’s past dental records or x-rays so that we can best prepare for your visit. As the release of these records require your consent, it will usually be necessary for you to request the information from your prior dentist. You can forward the information to us yourself, or give your previous dentist contact us to coordinate the transfer of these records. We welcome any information you give us! The more we know about your child and any specific arrangements or concerns you may have, the better.
Children with special health care needs
We are also also trained to treat the dental needs of young individuals and adults with special needs. We realize your child likely see many different doctors and specialists. Dentistry and establishing a dental home where your child can have consistent, quality dental care is also very important. When making an appointment, please let us know that your child has special needs. Also inform us of any medications, precautions, arrangements or concerns you may have. We may want to consult with some of your other child’s doctors beforehand. The more information you can give us, the better. This will allow our office to prepare better for any special situations. We may recommend an introductory site visit first, in order for your child to become accustomed to the surroundings, equipment, instruments, noises, and our staff. This is also more likely to assure a happy first visit. If recommended by the dentist, introductory site visits are complimentary and will be recommended by the dentist if needed.
Finances/Insurance
We know you may have questions regarding financials and we understand insurance can be confusing - we are here to help. We are an insurance-friendly as a non-participating provider on most insurance plans. Many insurances offer great benefits to their members and we will help you get a breakdown, file the claims as a courtesy for you, and do everything we can to help you optimize your dental benefits. We don’t want cost to defer you from having the healthy mouth you deserve and we will do all that we can to make our care possible and accessible to you.
